Hello

I was Argos customer services team leader for ages and can say that in our store we would refund anything as long as it was sealed. Yes, it was managers discression, but generally if they had the shrink wrap still intact then it was fine.
Obviously, don't quote me!
The reason for the highlighting is because if the staff aren't pointing it out they are going against company rules - same applies if there are differences at checkout between catalogue discription then the staff member can lose their job if they don't point out that the item is different.
I used to LOVE being on returns on boxin day
