Abusybee, love your cards. Can I please ask where you got your Christening paper from, it is really gorgeous

Brookeslay, I'll have a look out for some wellie shapes and let you know if I find any.

The christening paper is actually wrapping paper I picked up from asda or sainsburys in one of those packs that you get 2 sheets and two tags for £0.99. I bought it about 2 years ago and it is what I had left. The only problem I had using it though was, because I made an A5 size card, the creases in the paper were showing on the card so I had to mask it with the white ribbon. But it turned out ok.

  • Hello i'm new to card making, i started by doing our wedding invitations (only 20!). I really enjoyed doing it and wanted to start doing more. I've been watching Ideal World tonight and have just bought the new 'ultimate pro crafters companion' it's brand new 10 in 1!
It looks great but i'm now panicking that i've spent loads of money and it won't be any good. Please someone reassure me that i've not been stupid. Or pre warn me that i am stupid so i can send it back!
I'm going to have my gallbladder out in 3 weeks so can't wait to do lots of christmas cards when i come out of hospital. I'm really excited now!
Sorry i'm rambling as i'm nervous!

Charlie I am sure you will love it..I cant wait to get mine ( when it finaly gets here)
A few people on here have it and love it
Keep all your old letter and scraps of paper to pratice on so you dont use up good paper and card stock

This time 2 years ago I had my gall bladder out ( infected gallbladder though not stones) I took a load of decoupage in with me and envolopes to put each cut out sheet in. It passed a good few hours that I would have just been sat there getting more and more nervous
I was out after 3 days and soooo glad to be out of that pain that is worse than child birth...lol ...you will be fine
I wouldnt wish gall bladder trouble on my worst enemy
    Are you getting many attacks?

I'm watching create and craft and the ultimate pro is on now and I want it but have no money ARRRRGGGHHHHH! lol

I too have had gall bladder problems and had mine removed last year, I kept getting pancreatitis and they hoped removing my gall bladder would help prevent it occuring again because my liver and kidneys were struggling with the infection - I did have a lovely yellow tan though lol.

Why not take something in with you to do Charlie, maybe just get one of the magazines that come with kits and take that in with you to occupy you.
