So sorry you feel rough Krystaltips. Sending feel better wishes your way.

I have bought loads of cards for all the people who won't appreciate a handmade one ;) Is that really nasty of me? I spent weeks last year making all my cards and got cr*p ones back from so many people so am spending time making a few and the rest can have cheapie cards I got in the sales left over from last Xmas :D

No its not nasty - I did that last year and will be doing it again this year. I don't see why I should waste my time when I could be doing something else - got a couple of packs of 10 cards for 10p in somerfield last January so everyone will be getting the same penguin design :rotfl:.

Sorry you're feeling rough Krystal - hope you feel better soon - DDs are great at bringing bugs home then getting off scot free :o

Hey, at least you're sending christmas cards out... I haven't for about 3 years now... I do ones for DDs class friends (usually last years bargains) and special ones for close family (parents, siblings that's about it) But I never bother with the rest... We get a stack of them from school, church, hubbies work etc and they end up in a pile because we don't have anywhere to put them that the cats won't knock them off... Or in hubbies case, get carried round in his jacket or left in his desk for months... What's the point?!

I seem to send an awful lot out - mostly its family and friends, particularly friends I don't see anymore due to the distance between us. Also send cards to the relatives I've found through my family tree plus ex foster kids that have left..........seems to go on and on.
Don';t mind making the cards - I enjoy that part but OH freaks out at the postage..............

  • I post mine early enough so that I can use second class stamps - OH thinks I'm just being tight but I don't think he has ever bought a stamp :o

OH has bought them - usually for me as he never writes to anyone and he always makes a remark on how much they were.................lol
I normally do second class ones and make sure I post early enough.

Hope I don't get told off for posting this here but do any of you have a little girl who likes Tinkerbell cos I have been having a sort out and have found a book of Tinkerbell Stickers (says 560 although some are only 1cm squares) and I don't have any use for them and don't want to throw them away so if anyone has a use for them let me know. x
