Turns out the cards I had submitted to their gallery had been drawn as winners, and they've sent me a bundle of christmas stuff - papers, velums, toppers, sequins, ribbons and all sorts of gorgeous embelishments, probably £20 worth easily - as my prize!
I'm working on a pop out card - will be my father-in-laws birthday card (he's 57 on Sunday), but I need a decent egyptian picture, like Tutenkhamun or something, to go on the front - does anyone have anything suitable I could print out?
Loving everyone's pop outs - so inspiring, never realised how easy it was.
xx

Rusty you are far too critical of your work. You son would have thought it was brill and that no-one else would have one.
Fab news maggie bob - looking forward to seeing the free creations.:T

Right here is my pop up card for this week's challenge...
It probably looks really plain compared to the others that have been posted so far but I like it. I may add some gems to my santa tag in the centre to make it prettier.
The papers are by Die Cuts With a View, one of my fave companies and the santa chipboard tag and snowflake on the front are from a huge set I got cheap from ebay, someone selling on stuff from QVC. My card is actually A6 rather than A5. I did try an A5 one but got overwhelmed filling all that space so tried a smaller card and was happier with it.
I really enjoyed making it so huge thanks to Polly for setting the challenge :T
Glad I was able to make a few people laugh with my Darth Vader commentsHonestly, just don't engage my brain sometimes...

Lovely pop out card Rainmac
abusybee, I guess he would have loved it and it would have been special, however I wouldn't have beem happy with it to be honest and it would have annoyed me to give it to him. I will try and see if I can do something to it today but I stood on a wasp last night and my foot is very painful and so a trip to the docs as it is so swollen! Are you saying you have taken me seriously prior to the Vader comment...? :rotfl:
Do I have to answer this one? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: or can I have 50/50 or ask the audience lolRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0
