  • Rustyflange - your comments really made me giggle. I am just the same when my card making goes wrong, I get a right sulk on, and feel like setting fire to my disasters. However, I think you are being too hard on yourself!

  • Beautiful cards Polly, I too love the Mum one - the flowery paper is lovely. I like the paper nation one too. I made the oriental lady one in their range, but I didn't like it, they look so much nicer with the backing paper. The wedding one is really pretty too. And as we are a family of Liverpool supporters, I have to say that one is fabulous!

Love the cards Polly, fab as always!!!

Rusty, have you tried mounting darth vader onto your lime card? How does he look?

I tried a pop up card last night and got the how to make bit mastered easily but my card looked totally cr*p. I have made another tonight, I don't like to be beaten, especially by pieces of card and patterned paper :rotfl: ! The camera is out of battery so it's on charge and I'll take a picture tomorrow. I'm pleased with this one, I think... :rotfl:

I'm so sorry rainmac but OH was reading over my shoulder and commented how wrong that sounded! :rotfl::o

Haven't tried anything more to be honest, I have however made a sock monkey and another nappy cake for therapeutic remedy :D

  • Oh wow, I am so totally made up! I recieved a package today in the post from OneStop. Turns out the cards I had submitted to their gallery had been drawn as winners, and they've sent me a bundle of christmas stuff - papers, velums, toppers, sequins, ribbons and all sorts of gorgeous embelishments, probably £20 worth easily - as my prize!

I'm working on a pop out card - will be my father-in-laws birthday card (he's 57 on Sunday), but I need a decent egyptian picture, like Tutenkhamun or something, to go on the front - does anyone have anything suitable I could print out?

Loving everyone's pop outs - so inspiring, never realised how easy it was.

    xx
