    Ladies

What do you think of these tic tac holders??

I couldn't think what to do to give the kids as they left my daughter's birthday party this afternoon, (as usual I'm always running last minute!)

They're all around 12 years old so I was thinking party bags weren't so cool for that age??

My OH thought they were rubbish! lol

Unfortunately, I didn't have the proper width ribbon or the right colour, so had to make do with what I had. The card is a sort of cream/olive colour and the card on top is chocolate brown.

Are they going to go down like lead balloons? I've also got some individual square cup cakes that they can ice themselves before the leave and some other lollipops and sweets?

Can't see anything wrong with them Sally - must admit.....not heard of tic-tac boxes before. They look really nice and much more grown up for that age group (12 but think they're around 16............lol)
    Well done:T

sorry, I think they are a bit "old" for 12 year olds, I think its the red ribbon that makes it uncool and the colours. I love them but then I am not "cool" haha. If it was something glittery or blingy (is that a word?) then maybe, have you not got some glittery paper in your card stash?
When my daughter turned 12 I bought cheap makeup bags from poundland, all glittery and reduced to 50p each and filled them with some sweets and a lipgloss I think, oh and a bit of birthday cake wrapped in serviette.

    hello all
I am back and catching up after being away for 3 weeks:rotfl:
whilst I was away I had a trip to hobbycraft - the amount of time and money I could have spent in there:rotfl: I bought a paper trimmer which was half price which does straight edges, wavy and perforated edges and also has a corner cutter. I also got a bumper pack of Christmas card stuff including 3 stamps...so if someone would be kind enough to explain how I use them i would be most grateful:D
haven't made any cards for ages but have a few to do so must get back into it.
