I'm impressed by the site..............e mailed them with my order number and they got back straight away............seems I'd put a wrong number in.....,,,,daft me !! But if I pop a cheque in the post they'll deal with it after they're week away. Now that's personal service I reckon.

The rest will be going on the blog http://stampingmadtoni.blogspot.com
Had a lookie on onestop but mustn't spend any more money really!! Did an order from Sir Stampalot in the week for some Whipper Snapper stamps and discovered today the Whipper Snapper site ships to the UK and they have a free Hug for Ike stamp offer on so bought some more...........!! Also there's 10% off everything on www.sillymonkeycrafts.co.uk and you only need to spend £15 for free delivery - they've just got a load of new papers in too. Its also ProMarker heaven so I'm just placing my order!

    Hi Savapenny,

Don't know if these areanygood ornot butsome beautiful fonts here for initials etc for wedding invitations. http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=404&page=1 If you type the initials you want intothe preview box it shows what they will look like in each font.

Here's a link to a tutorial to make your own monograms http://weddingmonograms.blogspot.com/2008/01/twined-initial-monograam-tutorial.html

    Hope this helps trishax

    Hi Savapenny,

Wonder if it would be possible to make one in microsoftword. I'm rubbish at such things but my son works with computers so i'll try catching him before he goes to america and ask him. He always gets the job of figureing these things out for me . lol

  • saveapenny i was worried about stamping but after watching a Dawn Bibby demonstration on QVC i got the hang of it!! She had one tip which really helped me out - take the ink to the stamp. You might have tried this already but if you just turn the stamp on its back and tap the ink on to it- that way you avoid splodges of ink getting between the grooves and ruining the image. Also when you put it on the paper press really gently then hold it firmly with one hand while 'walking' your fingers across the rest of the block. This might help - then again maybe not but it certainly helped me!!
