And this is how far I have got.
Yes I know the card opens the wrong way but I was being thick lol ... it opens which is still a good sign lol. Anyway I was wondering if I could get away with red pom poms as the cheeks and maybe googly eyes as his eyes or would it look silly? I don't want to try it out as it has been a pain to do so far and don't want to ruin it.
Rusty, wow, your card looks fab already! I wouldn't have noticed that he opens the wrong way and that absolutely doesn't matter as he look great
How about rubbing a bit of blusher over his cheeks and colouring his eyes black with a bit of tippex/ white paint/ nail varnish for the glinty bits in his eyes? If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
I have just had my artymiss delivery and really pleased with the card making set but the general craft one is a complete waste of money. Its filled with loads of those pom poms and tissue paper and 4 clear bags (plastic)
Some ok punches in it but so small they will only be good for borders
Loads of skelton leaves which might come in handy but somethign I have never tried using
Raffia ribbon .. might try that on tags
I was hoping for more tools in the general one but no its mainly rubbishIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -
Hiya cardmakers, just popped in briefly to say a belated hi! Thanks for the "reward for finding me" hunt a while back, that made me chuckle.
It's true, I have been completely OBSESSED with Big Brother this year - I only watched the first show to see who everybody would be talking about and I got completely hooked! I've popped in to see some of your smashing cards occasionally but felt a bit guilty about not doing any myself.
I hope to be back quite soon...

That's so not good, are you going to complain? I think you should:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

Thanks Rainmac, its been hidden in a safe place for the moment as Tom has come downstairs to play with his sister, meaning I can't do anymore to it! Blusher is a fab idea ... wonder if MIL has any as I don't wear make up very often and have none! Good idea for the eyes aswell, Will give it a try later onThanks.
I think I just needed to figure something out as I was struggling with ideas. I marked on the paper ontop of the card to leave the indent for the eyes, nose and cheeks hence the indent in them. Just need to colour in the tips of the ears and go over the mouth etc. I actually enjoyed doing itRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

I would complain if it was that bad, someone on the last couple of pages complained that their kits was not new and there were lots of opened packets etc.
I have some of the skeleton leaves, not sure what to use mine on but they were something I *HAD* to have and only cost 25p in Artymiss saleRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

I have a young niece whos just started so I am sure it wont go to waste completey...she will see a box full of bits and be so excited...lol

The card looks great Rusty it really does. I wouldn't have known where to start!
