Your cards are fantastic, I love the Roses. Did you graduate the colour on Word? Can you put card into the printer, never tried it, maybe should read the manual and see if I need to adjust something, Just my style of card, really love them0 -
sally -Those last two cards look brilliant :T best thing now I think would be to walk away from them and look again tomorrow.

I use a card program for putting words on the front its called cards and invitations I picked it up from PC world for £5 and I use it to graduate the colour.
On that you can rotate the wording and choose from over 1000 fonts and colours. You can also input your own size's of the font
Not sure if you can do it in word I will have a play and let you know
Its not printed on the card its printed on tracing paper (cheaper than velum...lol) tehn wraped round the card but there is no reason you couldnt print it directly on card its just easier to adjust if its printed on a wrap
Then I printed out the images again on plain paper for the second one and on photo paper for the first one then edged them with peel off borders
here is the images for the first oneIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -

Hi Mary
Thanks for that, - you're right, I did walk away and will start again tomorrow.
I asked the bride herself what she likes best and she likes the one with the three hearts across the top of the card - so I guess that's the one I'll go with - nice n easy too!

I played around a bit on Word and this is how to do the colour grading (mind you, I haven't printed it out so not sure how it comes out)
Open a word document
- Click on Format (top of the page)
- Click on Background
- Click on Fill Effect
- Gradient tab: tick 2 colours, colour 1 pink, colour 2 white
choose style, horizontal, vertical etc
you will see a sample
Might be nice to make paper for backgrounds like this to use on our cards..0 -
