Ideas for card craft beginner

Thankyou small boys cards would be perfect ive got thomas stuff for the 2yr olds card the 3yr old likes spiderman and the 5yr old likes power rangers.The last time i tried google i messed up the pc lol

Here is today's challenge card: I got the spiderman image from google images, cut it out, spread a little glue along some web lines and sprinkles glitter on it to make it a bit more interesting and kids love glitter, don't they?
Mounted image onto black card and then onto blue, attached 4 eyelets. Cut half the front of the card off. Positioned spiderman onto card with foam pads, added nephews name mounted on black and then blue in the corner. From experience kids also love to see their name on cards... especially my niece and nephews who have unusual names that you never see in the shops bought cards. you can add their age as well, which they also love. If I had a bit more time, I would print the image again, cut out the spiderman and stick foam pads on the back and stick him over the image so you get a
3 D effect, IYSWIM?

Away for just a few days and look what I've missed !! Super cards - well done all !
We came back a day earlier than planned as the weather was awful and looked like getting worse. Had a good day shopping today though - got a box of 50 cards and envelopes for £5.99 - I thought that was a bargain and so did OH.................picked up some marble looking card as well and some embellishments from a cheap little shop so I'm all set to start my Christmas cards..................I've been glueing and sticking away since new year so nearly done all my birthday ones.........................lol
Oh, and bought some handmade paper from charity shop as well, pack of it for £1.:j

Forgot to mention - got a cardboard sort of self assembly set of drawers for A4 paper, nice pattern. Just got to put it together and then hopefully it will sit on top of my filing cabinet and keep all my card stuff in one place.........lol

Nice to see you back Mary, sorry you had to come home early because of the weather. You are spreading out already with the card making stuff, I have 2 sets of those cardboard drawers, very handy,

Hiya, well done for making your male card. I take it you watched create and craft on tv last night like me? (I recognised the darts and football theme lol). I also liked the shirt and tie idea so I may make one of those some time. Ooh, lots of ideas floating around...
