oooooooh i'd love to go to a craft class, haven't seen any in this area. might have to go off and google.
anyone looking for tips on crafting btw - i joined www.trimcraft.co.uk a couple of days ago and its full of lovely helpful people (obviously not as lovely as here on our thread) but might be handy for tips. i managed to find a very lovely lady who offered to emboss some card with the cuttlebug swiss dots for me (for nothing, bless her heart, she wouldn't even accept the money for postage) and she said she will throw in a few of the other sorts she has and label them in case i decide to buy a cuttlebug. i was dead chuffed
saveapenny did you get your artymiss stuff? mine's arrived and its all fab! :T so fab i went back and spent another £40but my budget in all areas has been slashed this month (drop in our tax credits award) so OH and I allowed ourselves one last treat and that was mine!

Rustyflange... I have made afew baby cards from this http://www.craftclipart.com/site/free/BABY_BEARS/index.php
I used the baby paper printed out 2 copies then cut out letters from the second sheet and mounted them on foam over some of the letters on the first sheet I had stuck to the card and used ribbon and peel offs to decorate it. I usedone of the bear faces and a tag printed onto card on the front.
I then made an envolope bag by sealing the envolope up , cutting about 1/4 of an inch off one of the short sides then scoring the other short side and folding in http://doodlesanddragonflies.blogspot.com/2007/05/little-lady-gift-bag-envelope.html leave the top that you have cut open and use ribbon to make an handle
These are great as well for decoupage cards
Decorate it when its all flat before you score it If I know the babies name I usualy print it on the front of the bag with the date
forgot to say you need an envolope bigger than the card you have used( about 1 sze is usualy enough)
sorry if you already know how to do this but thought it might be useful for anyone that didnt knowIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -

If you randomly hear Rainmac being screamed and shouted you know who it is :rotfl: I have to admit it was a couple of comments from you, and then a comment from the woman in the local craft shop who pushed me in the right direction ... I have christmas toppers on their way, and also things from Artymiss ... will see how I get on ... The best bit is i was outbid on loads of things on ebay (around 80p ish more than my highest bid, but the seller has offered me all of them on a second chance at my highest bid ... I spent loads on ebay last nightRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Argh, will people please stop posting bargains!! I've got a wedding to pay for here!
Managing to resist... So far... Am also avoiding our local high street now because I keep managing to find a few bits here and a few bits there.... I popped into Clinton Cards on Weds and they had loads of little badges reduced to 10p so I bought a few for cards.... And snaffled some cake boxes right from under a ladies nose while she was on the phone to her friend asking her if she wanted them.... I did feel guilty... For about 4 mins... But they were 49p a pack!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
