I live in Northampton and the lady who owns the company lives about 20 minutes drive away. She has managed all on her own up to now but has a young family and needs help making up orders so she can focus on building the business. I certainly don't have the courage to start my own business so this is a start and hopefully will give me more confidence in my abilities whilst learning lots!
I've found out about this opportunity very recently and have all my fingers and toes crossed cos opportunities like this don't come along very often. I have wondered if you could contact handmade stationery companies and ask how they recruit, if they are looking for staff etc and may get something that way (search web for local companies to you). If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

I used Word and printed them myself. For the blue card I printed the words straight onto the card and for the pink one printed wording onto a piece of card, cut out and attached with 3d foam pads. If you are interested in printing directly onto cards, PM me your email address and I'll send you a card template I have saved. The difficult thing is getting the wording central on the card - can be a bit hit/miss, well for me anyway:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

Thanks mary! The money isn't great but I'd be being paid for making cards and hours etc are fab and I can fit the work in around looking after my two little tearaways:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

I have a program called "cards and invitations" that I brought on disc I can try sending the file to anyone that wants it just PM me your email
Not sure if it will work but worth a try its quite good and saves using word and does take some of the guess work out of getting the wording rightIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -
Polly - beautiful card - I love the little hands and feet - very cute.
Rainmac - a lovely selection of cards. I think the baby ones are my favourite! Good luck - I am so jealous! I would love to get paid for making cards! I'm sure everything will go great!
Saveapenny - great card too - it looks really striking with the lace up at the front.0 -
Forgot to mention before my Mum visited yesterday and took a box of cards back with her. Her boyfriend has kindly offered to try to sell them at his work for me. I hope he sells a few - I will be so gutted if nobody wants to buy any. I wasn't sure how much to sell them for, so I said £1.50 each, I didn't want to price them too high! Anyway fingers crossed - I told her to keep me updated if he manages to sell any!0
