Hi Lilian1977 glad that you have joined us. I have never bought the magazine before but I'm sure its monthly - about £8. A lot of people on this thread buy this magazine and swear by it because you get so many products in it, I'm sure they will be able to advise you.

So sorry if this has been asked before, I'm at work and haven't got much time to lookaround on the net or this thread...I'm thinking about getting a subscription to this: http://www.crafts-beautiful.com/site/letsmakecards/ - but where do you get the envelopes from?! Are they included? If not, are the card blanks a fairly standard size?

And also, is it a monthly magazine, and if not how often does it come?

Thanks everyone - looking forward to starting card making as a hobby :) xx

I have bought the last three issues of let's make cards and think it is a good thing to start with. I like the fact that everything is included so if you see a card you like in the mag you know you will have all the bits and pieces to complete it. I have only just started making cards so haven't yet built up cards, embelishments, papers etc. It is quite expensive but you get alot in it.

It is a monthly magazine. I think I will subscribe to it as it does work out cheaper.

The envelopes are included in the pack.

Does anyone know if there's any freebies up for grabs for subscribing?

I did subscribe to the papercraft inspirations for £1 (still waiting for my free gift, they said it could take up to 48 days) but just cancelled the direct debit, lets make cards looks a lot better value for money really...

Don't know if it's of use to anyone but at the moment there's a great subs gift if you subscribe to papercraft essentials it's a crafters companion ultimate great for scoring cards , making envelopes box folder , and a built in paper trimmer etc and sells for 40 quid. I already subscribe but am tempted to sign my sister up just to get one lol http://www.practicalpublishing.co.uk/subscribetopapercraftessentials.php

I think that's great news Polly! Have you been learning new techniques? Heat embossing? :D , Tissue Paper ;) Eyelets?...

Speaking of eyelets, I got my Crop-a-dile "Big Bite" yesterday from QVC, it certainly looks the part but the instructions look a bit baffling. Need to check out the online instructions I think...
