hi all,

my mum has a new motorola v220 with a tesco mobile sim (runs on o2?). I want to put her old orange sim in to transfer phone book. (Will save her literally hours of time)

When I put the orange sim in the v220 it says "enter subsidy code".

Does this mean the v220 is locked to tesco or is it that the orange sim is locked to the old phone?

cheers,

s.c.

it means the mobile is locked, cable unlock in a shop for about £10

if you have an old nokia phone then save the phone book from the old sim card to the phone , then back to the new sim card.....
