Daughter has got a Nokia 8210 which was given to her by a family friend, she bought a sim card fo it and it has been working fine for about 18 months.now all of a sudden she can't ring anyone it just hangs, and no one can ring her as it says the number has not been recognised or that the number is not available:(

It's a vodafone sim,
I've just been reading the threads about locked phones and realise it probably isn't that now, am coming round to thinking it's probably just broke0 -
The fact that it's saying the number is not available or not recognised makes me wonder if Vodafone have closed / disabled / blocked the account.Hug provider for depression thread :grouphug:

you need to speak to voda customer service...it may be a problem at their end..definitely does not sound like a phone lock or phone problem...though to double check could she try the sim card in a freinds phone to see if the same happens ?Ex forum ambassador

Just tried her sim card in my phone and it is working fine, must be the phone after all then, never mind, soon be christmas.0
