I've had an email from them after asking about transferring to online v5...
Online Version 5 is now no longer available via any comparison site.

This has only recently been confirmed and will be available to anyone by telephone request to ourselves by calling 0800 096 9000.

The product will be available to everyone in all areas from March 28th when we will be able to transfer you to this product.
  • I am on EDF online V3 rate . I had a letter dated feb 2008 and the new prices quoted were:-
    Elec 1st 900 Kwh 13.19p . 2nd rate 8.16p
Gas 1st 5860 Kwh 4.035p . 2nd rate 2.537p . All incl vat. these rates are less than their standard rate , but not by much . From looking on the switch sites npower and ebico are cheaper for gas , but no-one as far as I can see is cheaper for elec , but that is without taking any discounts into account . It really is a minefield now and you need to be a maths major to master it all.
