Ive had this tv for 6 months and it is really a nice tv and the picture quality is great once you tweak the setting after its run in.

I would just like to endorse that this is a really fantastic TV, I bought mine from JL last Aug for a lot more! :) If you do buy it then make sure you run it in to avoid any damage. Read up the settings on avforums, basically it is making sure contrast and brightness are down to less than 50% for first 200 hrs. Also JL CS is awesome and a 5 year warranty alone is worth hundreds. Also have a PS3 and works just perfect on this TV.

avoid lcd like the plague if you go for more than 32" as freeview is shocking, i had a samsung full Hd lcd 1080p and it couldnt handle freeview. Then took that back and got a Panasonic PX700 Plasma, and it blows it out of the water on freeview and Xbox 360.

So my 2p is get a plasma if you want above 32"

    hello froggy,
if you can't get this one from JL for £595 than try dixon as they have lg 42 plasma for £585 (get dis!!!! code from hotukdeals.com) you all probably get it for £565 not bad.... or costco (don't know if i have spellt it correct) have 40'' samsung full hd for £728 (3 years warranty).
    haapy hunting.

Just turn the contrast and brightness down on a plasma for the first 200 hours, just stops any problems in the future with screen retention

how am i going to get this at the reduced price as its up for £799 now.
  • This will blow away any LCD into the water when it comes to SD content like TV and DVD. Especially 1080p lcd.

Be honest, what are you going to use for most of the time?
