O2 inclusive minutes, do they include 0845/0870?

Just got O2 to give me 500 x net mins AND reduce my tariff - thanks to Matrix for a brilliant post!!

So....

Does anyone know if the inclusive minutes include 0845 and 0870 numbers?

As far as i am aware they do.

I am on the max tariff and they are included in my minutes as i call 0870 all the time and i am never charged.

Some o2 contracts include 0500/0800/0808/0844/0845/0870 ngn numbers in there cross network minutes,and some dont.To make absolutely sure rather then get a high bill,i would ask o2 customer services if they are included on your contract.NOTE 0871 numbers are never included.

I can confirm that if your on the Discount 500/750 tariff then calls to 0845/0870/0800 numbers are included within your call allowance. I tried phoning a few of these type of numbers and checked my unbilled calls section online and it shows they have been deducted from my inclusive minutes.

Still to check whether 0844/0500 numbers are included but could probably assume they are.

I think, but you need to double check, the online tariffs don't include 0870/0845, etc in inclusive minutes. But like I said you should double check with the o2 website.

Min does, but before i got my contract leisure time 500 or sumthing, they told me they didnt know, typical o2. Anwyays I still got it becvause of the phone they were offering and it turned out they it did include it.

Thanks Matrix, that is great news! Yes, I will be on Discount 500 from 18th August (when my old tariff expires).

BTW I nominated you for post of the month - there's no chance of you getting it, sadly, because frogling has walked it... but at least you got a mention...
