How to take advantage of Nintendo DS Game offerat Game stores

Dress it up how you want, its still piracy. Yes, the R4 and other flashcarts can play home brew but the majority of users use it for piracy pure and simple. And the sites you linked to clearly are about DS retail roms, not homebrew.
Uh, how do you think piracy has brought down the price of games? Games are bloody expensive. £50 for a new PS3, £45/£50 for 360, £40 for wii games, £30 for DS.
Piracy doesn't support the market at all, and evidentially hasn't brought the price of games down at all.
Edit:
The sites you linked to clearly have the downloads of illegal retail roms available. Now try telling me its for homebrew only.~Diminutive0 -
So whay do you think has brought down the cost of music cd's?
The retailers not wanting so much proffit?
The artists not wanting so much royalties?
The record companies not wanting so much profits?
NO! the fact that if they lose money because of piracy they re-address their marketing to try and keep within a fair price policy, which has never been a problem until piracy became so big.
Until now, they have dictated a price which is way above the worldwide average because we have paid it.
Now they are losing sales they are starting to be more realistic with the pricing.
Once they get the cd down to £5ish I reckon most people would rather buy an original rather than counterfeit.
This has not had an effect on the market?
Agree'd that most flashcart users will only use for pirated games, but if you apply the same logic as explained above to games then most users would preferably buy a fair priced game. No?
Its small steps in a corperate battle that the consumer need to take and win to make worldwide fair pricing.
...But to buy and own an R4 is not wrong!
And for the record.... I dont have a DS...etc, but every game I do download for my PC, I try it and if its worth buying i'll buy it.
I can provide photographic evidence if needed.

Been to my local game store today in Nottingham and found this deal to be amazing!!
But i have found something that i havent seen mentioned in this thread yet.
Basically they still have the offer on of trade in ANY 2 ds games and get ANY ds game for £4.99
Also they have a large selection of games in another offer of buy one get one free
So anyway i then had 2 minutes and thought about this and then asked a member of staff can i trade in 2 of my old games and get 2 games from the buy one get one free selection for £4.99 he said "yes sure"
So i traded in 4 old games and got 4 brand new games for £9.98!!! The games i chose was priced at the following ...3 at £29.99 and 1 at £24.99 so for trading in 4 old crappy games of mine and for £9.98 i recieved 4 brand new games which was meant to be £114.96 what an awesome deal!!!!
Please note when doing it this way you only have a selection of games to choose from but still some very good games in the buy one get one free section alot of the games priced at £29.99
Hope many of you can make the most of this deal...:T:beer::j0 -
