Heya, I know the end date as an employee =p
When the trade ins are done, it is simply a case of pressing promo price at the trade in screen, putting the trade price up to £12.50. In theory you could use this against anything, but no store will let you do that. The official memo stated full price, brand new games only so that excludes the the BOGOF games etc. I refused a sale to a guy with like 10 copies of the same game.... I imagine most stores will do the same.~Diminutive0 -

Many thanks for that. Can you confirm however if the system keeps a record of what games have been traded in and if trading in the same title several times over a few days would count against you.if i had known then what i know now0 -
Done it today. Was told as it details on the POS promo at the front of the store that you can trade ANY DS games, but you can only choose from the list which was:
Mario & Sonic
Mario Kart
Animal Crossing
Star Wars Trilogy
New Super Mario
and a couple more I can't remember.
I traded 4 games in for 2 brand new sealed copies of Sonic & Mario - what a great game!
They had to do that in two transactions, but was happy to do it.
Hope that clarifies for some?0 -
I too traded games yesterday... bought 2nd hand ones from gamestation 1 @ £4.99 3 @ £8.00, traded for Cooking Mama 2 & Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games... £9.98
Total spend = £30.97 rrp. £29.99 each game!
Bargain... don't think there's a limit to how many you can trade in either. :j0 -
Another way to use this offer is to get rid of those really #### games you have that are onyl really worth a couple of quid trade in.
I had two DS games with £3 each trade in so i didnt bother. If I add £5 cash to them and get Sonic, how must is the trade in value on that. Must be more than £11 (£22 at Cex) at either Game or gamestation.0 -
Just found out that Sonic & Mario Olympics and Cooking Mama 2 are both £20 trade in value at Gamestation.
My kids are trading in DS games against Wii stuff. So will be benefit if if the trade value is less than £15 to go for the Game offer and then tarde-in these games.0 -
I've just traded in polarium and sprung (both bought for 97p in currys last time there was a price reduction) for Sonic and Mario at the Olympics, so big thanks for pointing this one out. I have one other pants game, so I will look out for a cheap one to go with it then trade that in too.
They said I could have any game at 29.99 or under - didn't have to be the ones on the poster.

Fab posting!!!
Offer still on today in my game - my daughter had one DS game that she never played with and was a bit duff and we bought another for £4.99 so she could get sonic for £4.99.
Such a good way of getting rid of those games they don't play with for the latest ones they have been trying hard to save for.0
