  • Thanks all, its nothing really but it gets her xmas presnt payed off before xmas. Next challenge finding a 'happy christmas' banner in september :rotfl:

not much happening here, go my self assesment tax thing back so thats £25 I have to pay out either this month or next  nothing else really :D
  • Ok confession time, i am staying at work ~ however part time :j . What made me do that? Well I went for the interview and it was awfull, I did get an acceptance of a job however for over a week I had so many emotions mainly because my confidence isnt good. So I have compromised, why go through that when if I can waggle extra time off work (ie going part time <30 hours) I can try and sort myself out :D. Ok it wont solve many problems but its security, and after all we have a new manager and everyone has said they will be sorry to see me go. And lets face it where else will I find a retail job for £6.62 per hour  I have also been facing things in a differenet light these past couple of weeks and its been so much better. Will I regret it? Maybe, will I want to leave in a couple months time? Maybe. However in the current climate I would rather have a job than no job and run out of money.... I also want to fill this cash isa :rotfl: So I will have to sort out my soa etc when hours are confirmed it just means I will be saving less and spending even lesser :rotfl:

So thats me for this month have £278.55 left in my account and these going out ~ £11.00 ~ house ins, £24.05 ~ eBay fees, £6.32 ~ I tunes. This leave me just over £200 for the month. I have factored in £100 extra on holiday but I shouldnt need it. But we shall see.

Oh and I have overtime tommorrow. One of the other employee's husband has gone in for a transplant so there is no cook avalible. I am the last of the 4 who can cook as the other 2 are busy so I am working tommorow. Mad rush now though

I hope the job works out for you PAP - you must do what's right for you. If you do want to leave in a couple of months then you can, it's not set in stone and you don't have huge debts to worry about.

Have a lovely holiday, the break will do you good. x

What skint said. It's not a life sentence and the pay is good so going part-time gives you some you time and maybe you could get back into college stuff too. Time is a precious gift :)

Ok confession time, i am staying at work ~ however part time :j .

Sometimes, PaP, it is 'better the devil you know' - which is why I am still at ASDA, albeit on a 'seasonal' basis - I have only worked a total of seven shifts this month, and will, probably, take home less than £250, including the £60 tax rebate, but it is money.

    Good luck.

Rog ~ wooohooo, so glad to see you back. Thats what I thought about why leave somewhere you have money coming in from? Seems pointless, well to me anyways :D At least I will have something coming in each month eh.

Not much going on down here, had my little flutter in the 2p pushers but I somehow have took up kite flying the first time I have flown a kite in my life but it is all fun :D Ohhh and I found some wicked croc look a likes, £2 :o but I did go back for a black pair which were £5. Thats about it, spending wise is going well, this year we have stayed areound the caravan park so not much outlay :j Will catch up with you all fridauy night ~ if all goes well :T
