  • well I am here :D nothing much going on here, money has gone to pot because I have rebelled, again ~ nothing new there then. Nothing extemely bad but here are the main ~
    * not paying the 'missing' into my busniess account
    * not paying extra into savings
    * spending too much

    So state of play ~
    bills ~ in £289.51 ~ out £289.51 = £0.00
    spends ~ in £248.34 ~ out £43.69 = £204.65

    I have brought stuff I havent needed this weekend, including three games (not even the one I want), paint tray, pet stuff and food. However it also includes £12.42 worth of cake stuff but I will get £20 back for that friday :T Oh and I am also getting £7 back from argos because I brought some speakers which I didnt really need, so I returned them :o

    So I have £204.65. I have all my spends £10 a week, covered in my bills account so I need to do something with this before I buy something from my list of 'want but dont need' junk. We are going out this saturday though so will need about £50 for that so I will have £150.00 to play with. So the plans/maybes are...
    * book holiday
    * put a deposit on holiday (but will end up paying more)
    * chuck it in saving

    Have yet to decide but I will figure something out soon. :rotfl: I will try and come online a bit more but its been nice not walking straight through the door and turning this pc on, also I seem to have taken a liking for tv :rolleyes: :rotfl: strange.

    Anyways speak soon all and take care :A

  • Thanks all :) beanie I am in no way guilty or going to beat myself up about this. I am fed up with feeling guilty about posting on here what I spend and thinking I cant buy something because I need to put it into savings. Money and this site has taken over my life and these past few days I have really thought about what I want to give and what I want from this site and I have come to a crossroads in my journey. At the moment money is the be all and end all of my life at present, working for it and then saving/spending it, is that really a life? I can no longer find any balance in life with anything (especially this site), its either all or nothing. The problem is I will say these things and a couple weeks later the old pap will emerge and I will be sat on this site day in day out doing nothing. I think this site has become maybe my enemy in some ways as well as my saving grace... I just want a 'normal' relationship with money again.
  • I say spend it!
    Spend it on you, and what you want and to hell with anything else!

    You work too darn hard to feel like you have to admit to, or explain why you spend what you want, on what you want...

    Like it's been said, you've got no debt, you're an intelligent woman, you're not getting into a pickle, and you're not living with your head in the sand!

    Live your life, dont watch it pass you by!
    And have a ruddy good time in the process hun!
    And if you want a shopping buddy, just let me know hun :)
