Who to improve my mobile contract ?
Hi Forum,
Has anybody a suggestion how I can improve my mobile phone contract ?
I call approx 750 - 1,000 minutes per month from my mobile and I am on a 200 x-net minutes contract with Orange for £ 30.- which I combine with the OneTel mobile override system. Typically, I only use about 150 minutes of my inclusive Orange minutes and the rest is via OneTel.
I do not want to sign up to a new 12-months contract because I am not sure how long I will be in the UK, even though I know that I will still be here for at least another 4 months ! This is why I find it difficult to find a good deal even though I know I am overpaying.
Has anybody any good suggestions ? :T
Thanks for your help.

Switch from One-tel to call 1899, and use their 08081 number. Then calls to landlines will cost 3 pence each. Also use it for calls to mobiles at weekends for 3 pence per minute.
Then, depending on the amount of remaining mobile use, consider cutting the Orange tariff down. 1899 charges 10p per minute for weekday mobile calls; the increment between Orange's tariffs mean their charges are similar or less, so only drop the tariff if you will use fewer minutes of calls.

Dear Andy88,
Thank you for your tip.
I have just checked with Orange and I can call 0808 nubers free of charge. 1899 is clearly cheaper than OneTel and your tip will really save money.
Many thanks ! :T
