Mobile e-mail - in the UK & abroad
Hi Forum,
Can anybody recommend a mobile e-mail system that does not cost a fortune when travelling abroad ?
I think the key is to find a system where the size of the e-mails downloaded is very small ( 1-3 kb only per message) and to have a cheap access method. Has anybody got another idea ?
I like Blackberry but it seems that it does not synchronise the key folders in outlook (inbox, sent, deleted, outbox). I do not want to read a message on the Blackberry and then have to delete it again on the desktop. Instead, if a message is deleted on the handheld it should also be deleted on the desktop. Has anybody a suggestion how this can be achieved ? :T
The network 3 were saying to me that when you sign up for an inclusive data bundle that the messages sent & received abroad were included. This sounds nearly too good to be true. Can anybody comment ? :T
Best regards,
Huib

i think you are mistaken about the blackberry, if you delete on the blackberry it should delete from your desktop inbox too. this is because the blackberry has a direct link with your pop box, and if you delete from the pop box via the blackberry, then the deleted email will not be in the pop box anymore so that your desktop computer cant download it from the pop box when you get back to your desk. same goes for sent mail, it synchronises mail sent too.0
