Whilst it is a bit odd and sad that some people want to leave, I do find it a bit childish that they want it known that they are leaving...a bit like slamming the door on the way out as a parting gesture...

I started this thread with the only intention of trying to deregister another username I used in the past.

I never thought, or intended, for it to become a thread where loads of people jumped in to announce they wanted to leave.

I apologise to Martin and all for how this has turned out - I honestly didn't expect others to jump in, in the way they have.

OK first of all can i say this thread is NOT the place to put if you want to leave. If you do - talk in private to the abcons.

Also old posts won't be deleted unless danger, harm, financial problems or lawsuits occur. This site is a record of contributions and discussions, if people with many posts leave those just won't make sense.

So unless there is an extremis reason for old posts to be deleted they won't be.

As for leaving - to be honest if you don't want to post anymore, the best thing to do is not post anymore. However I'll be sad to see anyone leave.
