If you find Adobe Photoshop too pricey, there is always Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2. A great program and at a fraction of the price. You can download a trial here: http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=uk/ProcessLayout&lc=en&ppg=CorelCorp/Trials/DownloadContainer&trkid=ukpsppx2dslrmag1207
I own Adobe Photoshop CS2 which I bought approximately a year ago. I also bought Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo. I am a photogrpaher and digital artist and I would be lost without these two programs.
