I have a PC voucher for the 2000 points when buying a certain toothbrush, have bought another one from e bay for 1500 points when spend over 30 on oral b tooth brush.
Do you think they would work together?
Also, have loads of 1/2 price expert vouchers, lots with different barcodes, would these work together?
Well, I bought the Oral-B 8500 toothbrush today and my 2000 points coupon wouldn't scan anyway!
It was such a performance; after she confirmed that I'd bought the correct toothbrush she said "Well, I'm certainly not adding 2000 points manually".
Her colleagues on either side of her both said the same thing too ("2000?? Oh no, I couldn't possibly add those manually").
After ten minutes of faffing around I told her I didn't see what the problem was since I'd bought the correct item. She went off to talk to someone else and I got talking to the SA next door who said no-one wanted to add them on manually since it was such a large amount of points.
Eventally a young SA was found who was happy to manually add them. I don't know why some SAs are so unhelpful; I guess it might be queried at some point, but the SA had a valid explanation for adding 2000 points and colleagues to back her up.
Rant over!
Freddie - be prepared for a battle!
P.S. The Save 1/3 on electric toothbrushes ended today, but some other brushes are on offer from tomorrow, so I hear.0 -
Imcg123cat I noticed you asked about the feel the difference skin perfection voucher the other day - what was the outcome please0
-
I saw a big display of toothbrushes going up today in Boots, I think they were Oral B, just a big blank SEL so that might have been the new promotion for tomorrow.
Johnny, I know what you mean about the SA's and points but one of them did tell me once that she wasn't allowed to add points manually, she did ask another SA though (not a supervisor) so I guess it's a seniority thing.0 -
we all know boots can track what we buy from our AC so I have started to not use my card when buying things such as the No 17 glitch - they cant track what I buy and when I am getting 3 products for £1 - I don't feel the need to collect the 4 points earned ...... just thought I would share, but I expect the savvy lot you are ...... are doing that anyway its just taken me longer to cotton on :rotfl:0
