Needed some cheering up today so decided to pluck up courage and try some bootsing. Went to little Boots in Southend as they usually have a quite good clearance section and picked up 3 gilette 250ml shower gels reduced to 58p each (£1.74) and then tried the lip glaze with two of the lip liner pencils and mag voucher. Went through perfectly total £2.74. On my way out I remembered people saying the heel genius was good and my feet were killing me so went to The Royals and picked up one of those for £5 with 200 pts ACM and 200 pts mag voucher as well as the lip glaze and 2 x liners again using another mag voucher and I had also spotted the max factor hexagonal black box which everyone said was free so popped one in my basket.
At the checkout the SA put through the No.17 and MF GWP then did a quick double check in the bag to see if I had purchased something MF but as the till didn't bleep she kept on going. Handed over the 2 x vouchers for S & G but she said she didn't think the lip glaze was going to work as I already had the free liner so I said don't worry, give it a go, if it works it works. Lo and behold it worked. Total £6 to pay and 400 pts on card.
If she had refused the MF GWP I would have made up an excuse (as someone else suggested) that I had got something which had fallen out of the basket.
Thanks to all contributions on here - I feel a whole lot better now.0 -
hi everyone,
Had a good and bad shop at Boots today.
Bad:
I bought the S & G heel genius but the two sets of points didn't go on - only just noticed and now the sa has my ACM voucher....EDIT: I just realised that it may have been because I used a different card at the ACM,
Good
Bought two eyeliners and lip glaze - ended up paying £2.29 for all three - the brown eye liner was £ 1.72 and the grey one was 2.29? Lip glaze was free along with brown eye liner.
Used half price PC voucher on baby expert product which was already reduced to 1.99, now 99p for me
Bought my baby a showerproof coat reduced to half price saved £7
`and then on clearance found this
roc set for £5.74 - original price 22.95. 75% offI couldn't wait for my roc voucher to come as I knew it would be gone by then
So I don't think I'll bother returning for the extra 200 points!
(No MF GWPs in Camberley as far as I could see)
On another note, I ordered some lipsticks from ELizabeth ARden to get the 1000pts but having tried one of three I don't like them - do you know if I can return the other two? And what would happen to 1000pts?
Many thanksHere come the girls....100% Gorgeous!!!0 -

In my defense, the MF SA was eyeing me up very suspiciously watching me like a hawk as I lingered around the counter........
I parted with some points today  , 9999 of them to be precise <sob> on a camera for daughter for xmas. Well, it WAS a great buy, reduced from £269.99 to £99.99, but oh my god, it was painful spending those points.
