The liners that scan for 1.00 are:

expresso, barcode: 50034727 and mortida, barcode: 50034703 HTH:D

A few peeps have asked about cheapest products to buy to get the free 17 lip glaze. I have Just found my post from last week on 17 lip liners that scan for 1.00 - see quote for details. There may be other reduced liners, but these are the only ones I know of - and 3 4 1 works with these:D Some of the reduced 17 cosmetics - with clearance stickers do not go through on 3 4 1. I tried to buy 2 x 50p foundation the other day and 3 4 1 didn't kick-in:confused:
  • Every time I go into the Lancome section on Boots it goes really slow and won't load - keep getting that boots error with a lady on it! Really annoying as I wanted to treat myself to a couple of cheap bits to get the free bag!

Me too! it was the same for me just before I went on holiday on Sunday! o well...:o

Went to london colney today with SuperKeenMoneySaver Snr today and we got:

    Shop 1:
    2 x Naked exfoliating face washes @ 25p each
    3 x Boots handwash @ 25p each
    2 x Boots heat protect spray @ 20p each

    Shop 2:
    1 x Boots expert sensitive wipes @ £1.49
Used 100 points voucher from mag

    Shop 3:
    Same as above.

Unfortunately, the 100 points voucher from the mag wouldn't scan :o BUT luckily for us the team manager put the points on manually :D

London colney also had, in the clearance section (located on ground floor at the end of an aisle towards back of the shop before the swim wear):

king of shaves eye cream 20p
king of shaves shaving balm 50p-ish
garnier blonder hair dye about 50p
    palmolive shower gel 20p
    boots shower gel 20p-ish
hair clips and hair bands - assorted prices
    nivea cleansing milk 20p
few other bits including swim wear reduced to £6 or so

Quick thought on the No 17 cosmetics, has anyone successfully tried the following combo:

    1 x mineral blush
    1 x lip glaze
    1 x other no 17 product
Use: free lip glaze voucher from mag + 50 points ACM voucher WYB mineral blush or foundation + 3 for 2 on No17
(so in effect it would be the cost of most expensive item less 50 points)

Was going to attempt it today but couldn't justify spending on more cosmetics (particularly as I now have a huge stash of those no7 highlighters which I use as blusher anyway! lol)

Sounds similar to the Roc gwp that was instore last year..... went through the till at 0.00p :DI bought the wipes with the voucher and got the gwp, then repeated the whole thing. I ended up getting loads of them, great in the xmas hampers![/quote]

Liverbird, I did this too:j they had tons at my local store. Everytime I went in I noticed they had brought more out. I just couldn't resist going back for more and more:D
  • Hi superkeenmoneysaver,

Good to see someone else local. Sounds like you had a good shop today.
Were all your purchases in the clearance section?

    TIA

  • hiya sweeterthansugar,
all the purchases except the Expert wipes were from clearance.

The expert wipes were on the shelf with the other expert bits an aisle or two before the clearance section.

seems like there's quite of a few of us london colney bootsers on here!:D

Sally06 My Sanctuary voucher beeped at the pharmacy counter in Luton yesterday but the lovely young girl called over the Manager (nice young man) and he overode it, he also manully put my 100 expert points on for disposable razors so with the points they only cost me 11p for 5!!

Think I prefer the pharmacy counter to the photo counter upstairs now.

Did you go into Luton Boots yesterday as the young SA said someone else had this many vouchers earlier, I thought of you lol

    Hi Discount-Diva:hello: No, it wasn't me:D

Was it the store manager (he's ok, but too clued-up on glitches) or the pharmacy manager (nice young guy) who served you? TBH I don't like paying at the pharmacy in that store. I always end up being served by an older SA, who always reads every single word on the vouchers I hand over and then hands back most of them without even attempting to scan them:mad:

I went to Oxford st/Bond street today. Large store had hat boxes and S&G sets, still 1/2price. I asked nice SA to check price of S&G set incase they were reduced further, but till still showing 1/2 price.

Smaller store had a few reduced items. Radox shower gel reduced to 41p so got 2 as on bogof:D I also found a kypi set reduced to 3.75 (same as the ones I bought before)It was in a basket behind the till (don't ask how I spotted this:rotfl: )I asked SA if I could have it and she said yes. She was really nice so I thought I'd try using a 3.00 sanctuary voucher - didn't think it would go through without a beep, but it did:T paid 75p for the set. I am kicking myself for not trying the vouchers when I bought the other 2 at 3.75 each. I could've got 2 for 1.50:eek:

I also bought a hair dye reduced to 1.13 - Big thanks to pollsdolls for telling us about these :A

WOW what a game of catch up...
After I posted yesterday am I had a Drs appt @ 10am who then sent me to hospital with suspected apedicitus sp!!! ( appendix )
Was there 'til 8pm on a drip, bored, tired & starving. Devoured a whole chinese takeaway once I got home then slept like a baby.

Lots of catching up to do, feeling very fragile & my birthday tomorrow so not up to going shopping for goodies/treats. I'm a lot healthier than the others on the ward so that's something to be blessed with I guess.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOGSHEAD:beer: Hope you feel better soon.
  • Thanks superkeenmoneysaver for that info. I will check it out this afternoon, that's if there is anything left at that time!!!
