VERY.
The figures are worked out in a different way to Halifax / Nationwide / Rightmove too. There has also been speculation as to how reliable they are as a result of the passing on of information (I think there was a recent BBC documentary??) This is why I'm not a fan of stats generally, as they are so easily twisted.0 -
The LR figures for Jan 2008 were just released (yesterday???) so they're not that far behind.
Rightmove are sort of ahead of things as they look at asking prices. Halifax/Nationwide use completions but miss big chunks of the market (eg buying with no mortgage).0
