Vodafone contracts

This is probably a really stupid question but can Vodafone contracts be cancelled by e mail as well as by letter?

Many thanks

Definitely agree about sending a recorded letter too so they cant deny revieving it.

Spoke to a chap a few days ago in disconnections dpt have to give 30 day notice by letter.

Requesting cancellation via fax, email or by phone not accepted.
Examine what is said, not him who speaks.

I managed to cancel my contract via e-mail with vodaphone, just had to give some details with the e-mail to prove its actually you like you d.o.b, total of last bill. Hope this helps.

the three contracts I've cancelled (not Vodafone though) have been done on the phone without any problems at all
  • Thanks so much for all the replies :A . I drafted a letter ready to post through MS Word and then decided to try and see if they would accept it via email which they did. So as from 29 August my contract phone is at an end, I have been using O2 pay as you go sim card for £10 a month with 300 free text messages. So thats another bit for the savings po :T t
