My apologies, Shelfstacker...you're no newbie! I am sorry if you felt I was meaning you - you've done some quality posts!...I'm still new to this but there is some tripe being asked from people who I'm guessing will just post once, take the advice of the good folks on here and then disappear until their next crisis....

I can't imagine them sticking around to help others and I think that's a little sad and selfish.

I took no offence because I had a 100% certainty you weren't referring to me ;) Don't worry.

Sorry, but the OP and kittyclaire are fairly obviously different people. Look at the latter's posting history for a start...

Posting history can count but it might not. One can always sign up again with a new handle and post away. Just looking at the posts they look so identical. But it does not matter. As the OP will probably not come back anyway. I dare say LOL

I took the wife's card drew 300 cash and drank it in a couple of days. She used the card and unwittingly went over the limit now she's got a 12 charge.
Can she claim the charge back on the grounds of temporary theft ?
Ive got an addiction and cant help myself. She's changed the pin number.

I bought a new top of the range DVD player & even though it clearly said on the instructions "Do not immerse in a bucket of water" i still immersed it in a bucket of water anyway & now it wont work.

I think it's the manufacturers fault for letting me immerse it in a bucket of water. :rotfl:

No, it's the bucket makers fault. They should have warned you not to use your bucket to clean your DVD player. :D

I blame Martin in saying no question is stupid.

This is a very selfish and ignorant comment.

Mable I don't often post on these boards, but your continual stream of unpleasant posts makes me so angry.

Martin is the only professional money saving specialist journalist in the country and he has created these forums for people to seek advice and learn how to manage their finances more effectively. There is no charge for coming on here, and Martin manages this place out of his sheer good will.

I have seen many of your comments and they always attack the poster for being "stupid" and side with the credit card company, often when the company is clearly in the wrong.

I suspect that you work for a credit card company and simply come on this forum to belittle the customers who are genuinely seeking help and advice. In this sense you are simply a troll.
