Hi, I've finlly discovered the benefit of ISA's. I've been recommended Icelandic bank ICESAVE, at a rate of 6.10% when you open with £1000+. Has anyone heard of or hold an account with this bank. Is it safe?

I've heard people using this bank so yeh go for it. Banks are safe. Your money is protected £33k (around that figure) with each bank so don't worry about that.0

It's covered by the UK £35K amount. I've had an account with them for a while now and am happy with it (and their customer service which is based in Newcastle, I think?).Debbie0
