It was a certain amount of income that you only paid 10% tax on. If that is what your earnings are going to be then you can happily bask in the glory of not having to pay any tax, lucky thing!
I on the other hand am looking at a tax bill from January that I am being charged interest daily on:eek: now my wage has gone in I can pay it though:DBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
IA, where do you get your energy from - you never seem to rest?0

Thanks Louise, I didn't know it had gone (10% thing). Ah well I still don't think I will be giving Mr Darling anything for a while yet though.
Anyway IA I know you won't be paying tax this year and maaaaay not next year but I would still take the advice of an earlier post to open an account and stick a percentage of your profits in it to pay for tax bill when and if it arrives. If you don't end up needing it then you can always treat yourselves or leave it there for emergencies. I know it seems like a pain to do but the sooner you do it the less chance you have of having a bill looming over your head this time next year. But remember until you know what your taxbill is or isn't that is what it is for not the Ste wants a wii (oh that just has so many possibilities that one!:p ) fund. Sorry that came across a bit bossy but hey you know me well enough by now to know that...I am a bit bossy:D
And :T for registering, you are not a procrastinator, are you?
I'm off to take my own advice and start moving some money around as DH just got paid. Poor love never sees most of it as I hide it all over the place:rotfl:0
