Got to be. Why would someone register on here as highwaytoheaven.co.uk and post dodgy responses. It took 4 days or so from registering to confirmation for me on here, so i think its odd. Kept us occupied though.

I registered here today to add to this discussion, took 30 seconds for confirm e mail / verify to arrive, and no i'm not proporting to be anyone else.
  • ok.
i have just phoned intermail, who the phone number for wedodigital actually belongs to. 01635565000.
i spoke to a very nice chap there who has advised that all refunds will be made within 7 days. apparently "highway to heaven" ceased trading 5 months ago! i don't understand how the website was live this morning, and how all this happened, and frankly, don't really care. i think we ALL knew we were never going to recieve a sat nav for 99p, but hey, it was worth a punt!
can anyone who is phoning that number please bear in mind that the guys on the end of the phone are not trying to rip you off, so don't get onto them bull headed and arrogant as a lot of people have done. being polite costs absolutly nothing.
if you have spent more than a few quid on these today, you are a greedy get anyway and really have no gripe. i bought 2, for gifts, so was never going to "lose" big money, although i understand there are many people who have ordered stupid amounts of this. I was merely concerned about the privacy of my card details, and i have been assured. i will still be watching my account and making sure everything adds up.

If you go for more than a few your greedy, but not if its 2. Oh come on, we are all in the same boat whether its one or a hundred and one.
  • If it was not a scam I think the vultures will have put considerable cost onto a small business in crisis!!!!!!!!!!!

As other people have said many you are acting as a leech.
Actions befitting of those pillaging stores in the midst of a riot.

It is incomprehensible that the website would SUDDENLY be active today, allowing a full - view - select - purchase transaction to take place. Being a web designer I should know !!

Does NOT ring true, fair enough a mis-price but I don't 'buy' the mystery site story

What amazes me on this forum is this, we are all on here looking for a bargain, if its a genuine one fine, if its an error as in the Waterstones spend £25 and save £5 which was going through for any purchase (and full marks to them honouring it), fine again, but why are people coming on here slating us for our actions, are they here for a bargain or just to stir people up?

Turn PC on active. Turn PC off inactive.Old data maybes or a scam. Tesco fair enough worth a punt, Joe Bloggs down the pub always poses the question 'Are you Having a laugh?'

Because keith, people who order 9 or 10 of these at 99p and then moan about how long a refund is going to take are taking the piddle, now all well and good going for it but to order and then panic about whether it's a scam or not is also a bit stupid if your not sure about a site dont buy the item until you are, unfortunetly there are some people that dive in and then regret it.And my point still stands exactly what have you contributed to this thread that has been helpful all you have done is attack mine and other peoples comments you dont like.As for your helpful comment concerning the mods why would they know any better than anyone else whether it's a scam or not they are volunteer helpers not legal Mystic Megs who magically know whether an item is a scam or not.
