think they have just clicked on i just tried to order and on final payment screen told me busy please try again later now when i click on the op link i get

You do realise that when they company find their mistake, assuming it is one, they are will email you saying it's an honest mistake and do you want to carry your order through at the correct price.

Screen dumps are irrelevant, they can change the price. As long as they email you or call to authorise it first. If they can't get hold of you they will just cancel the order.

Actually they won't. They'll take your money, cancel the order and not bother telling you. As has just happened.

As far as I understood these things they can refuse to sell you the item but they can't offer you it at a different price to advertised?

That was when I worked in a shop a fair few years ago mind!

I would explain it properly, but I really can't be bothered and i'm tired.

But basically, yes they can do that. An honest mistake can be changed.


If anyone gets a satnav at 99p I will be absolutely staggered.
