Finding a Boxserial / GEN ?

Im not too sure what a Boxserial / Gen is, but where can i find it for my phone?

If you could explain in detail what it is / does and how to find it then it would be great :D

    its not written anywhere on the phone - the unlocking calcs you can download should put the correct one in for you although its not always correct as nokia have a habit of changing things. best to make notes of what has been ok in the past for future reference
