My stoozing has hit a new all-time low!!!

I've recently stoozed over £30,000 which is now happily sitting in my flexi mortgage account.  However - when I called the lender up to ask them how I could pay,

    Woah. Stop right there.

You 'phoned them? That often costs money... please confirm that was a free phonecall... ?

    :)

    Unfortunately not.

I'm tempted to stooze some more to cover all these extortionate costs ;D

    Mr Love Child ;)

    Quick Question please.

If you have £30k all ready stoozed. Don't you have problems when you apply for new 0% cards? or do you just apply when you have to?

    Thanks
  • Just when I have to.

Also - tend to split new cards between self & Mrs MLC (i.e. I get 2 new ones, she gets 2 new ones 4-5 months later).

Had no probs so far!! :)

Wash your mouth out! A money-saving 2nd class stamp costs only 21p!
BTW when did 1st class go up to 30p? The Royal Mail website is still saying 28p (I haven't bought a stamp for AGES)

Just on the "explaining to a spouse" subject, you try doing this when you have four current accounts, quite a number of savings accounts (all in spouses name for tax reasons) with money flying backwards and forwards via the magic of BACs, bundles of stoozing cards including cards in spouses name she's not allowed to use and whose issuers occasionally call her, as well as dozens of monthly transactions in all directions with gambling sites (for bonus bagging - my most profitable activity by quite a long distance).

It didn't start out this complicated, but it does grow like Topsy. And you can see that it can be a little troubling to spouses. Thank heavens for Microsoft Money which allows me to consolidate all the accounts into a single list and demonstrate the monthly profit!
