  • Agree, contact the RM delivery office. No point contacting Amazon - its not their fault.

Or change your delivery address. whats the point of having large items delivered to a home address if you are never there during the day. deliver to work/relatives address.

Three times in a month my mother has ordered something from Amazon and the postie has left it on the door step. She has asked him not to do it and also emailed customer services but neither care. We don't live in a bad area but i won't say putting outside our door for up to 6 hours is a safe place.

    What should we do?

Thats not as bad as parcels being left in the rubbish bin and a card put through the door saying a parcels in the bin or a parcel in our green garden waste bin but in both instances i dont think the parcels were delivered by RM but by a courier

As many peeps have said its not Amazons fault at all its The Royal Mail. Doorstepping is not allowed and when i rang the Delivery Office saying a parcel had been doorstopped they were livid. Give them a call and complain the item that I had doorstopped was a signed book worth £200 and was irreplaceable dont let them get away with it.
