Perhaps your volume setting is low. Set it to 4 under the settings menu (settings/sounds/ring tones/calls).  If you set it to "+" the ringtone will begin very quietly, and slowly get louder the longer it rings.

The ringtones should be very loud... and the battery charge wont affect the volume. The loudest ringtone is "Boathorn"... I use it as my alarm to wake me up in the morning!

Some handy tips :

To put the phone into silent mode, hold down the * button for about 4 secs. (and do the same to go back to normal)

To lock the keypad press * followed by the left shortcut key. And to unlock the keypad, do the same.

I took it back to woolies store and got it exchanged . Its not 100% but its better than it was . Still sounds very quiet . If I had it in a bag or pocket I doubt I would hear it . It is on volume level 4 . For £30 its ok I guess . :-/

I'm having exactly the same problem.
Items have completely disappeared from my order,
I responded to their original e-mail, I sent further e-mails, I phoned them today and after 30 minutes on
the telephone , they eventually traced my order.
there is no sony ericsson phones left in the warehouse sorry do not know about sagem stock levels, when stock comes in orders online will be updated and when you get the despatched message they then say you have to wait for 7 working days before contacting them if no delivery.
They say you can telephone every few days to ask about stock levels.
Looks like it could be a long wait but all orders will be honored.

I placed my order ten mins after the offer was first posted on here, and still when I go into my account, there is nothing listed. It just says 'your active order' and when you click on it, there is just a figure in £'s and no items listed

dog on wheels mine is the same and i bet ya i ordered an hour b4 u did , did u order more than 2 fones then if so i believe this is why
