I have waited a long time for this offer, and the list of hotels is such a let down, I can't see one decent weekend away using the list of hotels, forgive me if i'm wrong, but the offer used to include so many City Center hotels. Such a let down by travel lodge

    Wow what a nightmare.
Got there eventually and even ended up with one night extra for £0, god knows how, I booked 2 nigts together and then got an extra confirmation of another room for one of the nights booked for £0 ???
Would be great if if was for next day, but cant see me using 2 rooms same night!!
Made me laugh to see it in my booking with a note saying it cant be cancelled!
Always on the hunt for a bargain

Never used Travelodge before so couldn't figure out how to book 2 consecutive nights, it kept raising the price to £41  even though both nights were shown as being available for £10! Then it came back with "booking system unavailable blah-de-blah" but when I scrolled down it had actually accepted 2 nights for £10 each (it *is* late  ). Payment was declined on 7 different credit/debit cards until I registered with them, so if you're having problems maybe try registering?
What a nightmare site! Glad I perservered :D

    Thanks to OP

Been waiting for a good deal for a weekend night near Legoland. Managed to book a saturday night in Sept at one of the Heathrow travellodges, will use Tesco clubcard deal for cheap tickets to the park for a well-deserved weekend away for me and the kids :D

Thanks to the OP for this.

Although I didn't manage to get a night for 10th September near Donnington to go with my free tickets for the Renault world series race weekend! I did manage for the first weekend in December at a Travelodge between Liverpool and Chester for a bit of Christmas shopping (as none on offer near Newcastle).

Very happy with this so thanks again!
  • Wow what a hassle I have spent over 2 + hours trying to book 1 and 2 nights (with no joy !). I have been accepted on a number of occasions but it would not take my payment (I am registered with then ) It is so frustrating that I could hit MY PC with a hamer and that would cost more than I am trying to save in booking a few days away. I wouldnt mind but It has taken me through every part of its site, Logging in Finding available rooms and even to the listing my card details but alas it always bins me out so No holiday for me ! Good Luck to anyone else trying to book these so called £10.00 rooms. They are about as available as the Lock Ness monster!!

Yeah! Finally - okay so I had to get up at 2.30 am and have only just finished checking everything.
But as we will have 3 children by then I have had to book 2 rooms each time.
We have annual passes to Legoland - so have booked a couple of weekends for the Knight's tournament and the fireworks - Reading Motorway services is easy to get to for them.
Then I've booked 4 nights near Eastbourne for half term week.
A weekend trip to take my Mum and Dad to Yorkshire Scupture Park.
A weekend to Manchester to see a band.
and a long winter seaside weekend at Littlehampton - just one day off school wont harm too much.

Total cost £226 - as I mucked up and managed to book a £26 room as extra - don't think I'll complain too much. That's 6 trips away from Sept to Dec. Then maternity leave will finish.

Great bargains - as long as they don't cancel any of the rooms.

I've just managed to book a room in Kinross, for dates that were unavailable last night. I don't know what's going on, but I'm pleased I got it.

Tried to book yesterday, after about an hour managed to get 2 rooms at Bangor in October for same night, then when I tried to book I got the error messages. Gave up and tried again this morning, its showing a room available in September but when I try to book it tells me I can only book it for £10 if I go for more than 1 night. Managed to get 1 room in for the 2 nights (even though I wouldn't be using the 2nd night) but when I tried to get another room it removed the first lot from my basket.

Had enough now, so won't bother with Travelodge and will get a good deal with one of the other chains. Definitely not worth all this hassle.
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you
