stupid sales on ebay

in Ebay, auctions, car boot sales, post & parcels
in an attempt to bring a smile to people's faces, i put a 'i survived the great earthquake of 2008' t-shirt on ebay last night and it's had nearly 600 views :D

have you put any plain daft stuff on ebay knowing you aren't going to sell them?

there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)

    I don't buy or sell on Ebay but I saw a documentary once when the reporter put a smallish piece of rope on the sales list to see what would happen. A farmer bought it and it cost more to post than the the selling price. People would buy anything, it seems.

    I remember that, it was a while ago but this guy wanted to see whether he could get something free and put it on ebay and make some money, he was near the coast for some reason and on the beach he found 2 lengths of rope washed up by the tide so he took them and put them on ebay and they sold!
