Have I just made a mistake? - cheap dial-up

I've just signed up for BT Anytime. It's £3.99 per month for the first three months, then ridiculously expensive thereafter. I'm hoping to cancel within the first three months, because I figure I'll have signed up for broadband by then.
Although this is the first time I've used BT Anytime at my current address on my current phone number, I've used it before at different addresses and on different phone numbers. I've never had a problem cancelling it after the introductory offer has ended in the past - so I'm hoping I'll be able to do it this time too.
However, on the page where it asks you if you accept the terms and conditions, it also asks if you accept that your card will be billed until the end of the minimum term. Hmm - what minimum term? I looked through the T&C's again, and couldn't see anything about a minimum term. Have they changed something?
The only thing I could find, was that you can cancel with seven days notice.
Does Anytime now have a minimum term that it didn't have in the past? Thanks.

typically minimum period is only 1 month - but as it is a 3month offer, they may tie you in a little longer so they can recoup their money - after all, if every did what you were doing - then they wouldnt make any money at all, as everyone would take advantage of the speacial offer, cancel after month 3, then rejoin to take benefit from the offer again0

You might like to look at www.naims.co.uk their charge is about £7 a month for dial up and good service/This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Actually it is written that you can end the contract with one day's notice.0
