What if an account was opened online? I think there was a cut off date for when CCAs are no longer needed. Can anyone give me the info? Never too sure about that myself. Ages ago, I was told it was around end 2004
when the electronic signature thing became valid. Or could be sometime in 2007.Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.

Thanks, Merlin. I thought as much. She'll have to pay for her catalogues, but I told her that anyway!!! Nothing is free, why do people think they can get out of it, I don't know?My Wins: £150 Next giftcard. Rimmel Lip Gloss, Benefit Lipstick and lipgloss. Rimmel Day2Night mascara. Lastly, if you can provide the year, if you can remember how you applied for it eg online, application form, over the phone. Because it may matter for example.where do i go next is their another letter i can send them or shall i just do a SAR letter? Any help would be great!!
Oh and do please reply only I noted you've done this on other threads on MSE and received no replies for example.Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Me again! - had a letter back from Cabot today, returning the postal order and saying
"The Cabot Financial group is not obliged to provide this information but we are pleased to help and have already requested the documentation for you from the original lender.
Cabot Financial does not accept the statutory fee required under section 77 and/or 78 of the consumer credit act 1974 and as a result Cabot has returned the fee of £1.00 that you have sent."
My understanding is that is all hogwash and as they are asking for payment - they are required to send the information.
So assuming a CCA does not turn up in the required timeframe I send the 12 + 2 to them even though the payment has been returned?
Its Cabots standard reply Natters, they have quite a few templates. lol.0 -

No, no SAR, that is for another process/stage entirely. And is separate to the CCA process. You'd need to give more info like I suggested, then we can offer more help but don't do anything until you have had that advice from people here.
I was advised to do a SAR as a certain nasty... company sent me utter tosh that was not applicable to me for my cca request....
i was advised to do the SAR as they have to send me everything then....Please be nice to all moneysavers!

Hello, again. Confess to not seeing one like that before but mine are older. So can't tell if it's a 'pre application' or a proper agreement. By pre I mean anyone who filled in their leaflets to submit for credit assessment. Before they gave you a card for example. I can see, though, only their signature. Okay, others here will obviously help you with the minutae. Also, who is the creditor, I can see the name in the corner but, like you say, not very clear. You could try Photobucket I suppose?
Thanks for the SAR correction. I was meaning, really, to not do anything until others had advised. I know what you mean, though, about 'nastys'. SAR is not something I've done you see so was a bit unsure. Sorry for the confusion.
