On the 12+2+30 letter I ws going to use it's got a bit about removing defaults, refunding all payments in full, ceasing all manual or automatic processing of data etc. Does someting along these lines this now need to be added into the 12+2 letter should they not come up with an enforceable CCA ?
You can, certainly, add those points to the 12+2 day letter.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.

Hi all,
First time poster long time troll, lol.
I have been intently following the threads regarding CCA's.
My dispute is with capital 1/lowells. I have sent CCA letters which haven't been replied too, also got our company solictor to call impersonating me, and he ran rings around them.
I have actually found a copy of my original credit agreement on an old computer (for some lucky reason I tested my new scanner with it back in 2003), and need a lil advice, I have asked them for copies but heard nothing at all.
Any advice welcome, obviously I have removed personal details but the wording is as is, is this enforcable?

Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.
All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional0 -

Do be very, very careful getting someone to impersonate you, it could well back fire.
It did take a lot of liquid encouragment to convince him
I also found the back page too

Just to make very, very sure this is an definatly an application and not an agreement ? I did fill out a full app form, and this is what they sent when accepted/maybe slightly prior.
Cheers for the advice0 -
Hi all,
I've sent another CCA request off the other day, this time to Equidebt DCA. This was after they sent me a letter offering a reduced fulland final settlement.
They invited me to "make them an offer" of settlement. Hadn't CCA'd them yet because they were accepting DMP payments and all was fine, but thought I might as well see what they've actually got in the way of any agreement.
Also requested that all communications were to be made in writing only and I wouldn't discuss it on the phone. Well guess what? Yep, they've phoned today!!!!! How stupid!!! I was at work though, so haven't spoke to them.
So i've now been trawling the web looking for info on them and it seems that they are normally not a very nice bunch, although they've been ok with me so far!!!
Anyone had any dealings with these lot and what should I expect now i've poked the wasps nest, so to speak!!

Cocker 100. This lot went quiet when asked for a CCA in November. No contact since. Good news I think.0

Log the times of ALL phone calls from equidebt, together, if possible, with the name of the caller.
If they choose to ignore your request not to phone them and to deal in writing only, then this can be regarded as harassment.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I sent a CCA request to Connaught in regards to my AMEX debt. They very quickly wrote back and advised that they did not have it and would pass back to 1st Credit who "owned" the debt.
This morning I have received a letter from a company called ScotCall Debt Collecting Services stating that they are going to attempt a doorstep collection and I have to pay within 7 days.
I still have not received my copy of a CCA.
Do I now send them the CCA request? I thought that they could not pass on whilst the account was in dispute?
Can someone help wiht what letter to send them now?0
