Thanks rog2
I have never requested any CCA, I was just issued a summons to appear in court, were I then requested my signed CCA.
I will write within the 14 days, but as you state I am not expecting a reply, they have until 4.PM on the 12/03/09 to respond to the court, so I presume they will not do anything until then, I am very committed to pursue all monies paid be returned to me, any action I take is not seen as a threat more of a promise, as these people have made my life hell for several years.
Well Done on this. The unlawful actions of these people is coming back to bite them. You have to feel sorry for them though, they have only had since 1974 to do their jobs right!:rotfl:0 -

To cheer you up on a Saturday night, the statement written below came from the Credit Industry's own Association website. Quite amusing to see that they are indeed worried about us using the same law as them. The only difference is that we understand it!
I dont know about anyone else, but i really am getting fed up with these consumer advice web sites which tell people how to evade paying their debts effectivley.
My company has had so many letters recently informing us of what we can & cannot do.
Everything from...not being able to visit debtors homes without prior permission to having to provide credit agreements etc..
What can be done about these websites?
They are costing us too much money/profit & i know they are having an effect on other debt collection companies as well.0 -

"When the shoes on the other foot....." springs to mind!
If they stuck to the law and didnt harrass people then maybe we wouldnt cost them so much money/profit!!

Well how very sad for them, not :rotfl: In the words of Dad's Army "They don't like it up 'em" :rotfl:
Stil no words from BCArd for me, went into default in mid Jan and no response at all, either from them or any of their associates chasing me, which is odd considering I was getting about 3 letters a week......
Moorcrap replied with the standard !we are contacting OC & have put account on hold" blah de blah, so will wait and see what happens there!0 -
:T Thanks for the follow up letter. I did send them the 12+2 days letter I will send the chase full and final on Monday.
Keep you updated0 -
Ok i wont go into the gory details of my accounts ill put it simply i think :-S
I called hfc regarding 3 accounts , they said it would be best if i offered over the phone a reduced final settlement, i know this is wrong it should be in writing. Im thinkn if i negotiate for something that suits me and i get them to send me this in writing that would be a good thing ?
3 accounts with hfc,beneficial
1 account with link financial
Currently with gregory pennington making £290a mo for another 35mo= £10k
TOTAL balance with creditors= £7600
job unsafe
gregp unco-op with making a reduced final settlement have to do it myself without their knowledge.0 -
Maybe if they were more fair in there dealings with people and not charging £423 per month interest on debts as they have in my case then I may have a little sympathy to wards them.
But on reflection I don't what came over me to think that way!
What goes around comes around.
