Options
can anyone tell me how i get my cashback ffrom this bt 150 4.99 a month deal from e2save? i understood the terms as you send off your 2nd and 6th bills and are repaid 90quid each time, however leafing through all my docs i realised i dont actually have any information about the cashback thing, they must not have sent me any??

on the site there is no mention of this deal and all cashbacks appear to be after 6 and 12 months?

does anybody know anything as i am ready to send off the 2nd bill ???

If you ordered before a certain date (25 August ISTR) then it will be based on 3 & 6 months rather than 6 & 12 months. The one thing that irks me slightly about most cashback deals is the lack of paper work involved - Carphone Warehouse (who now own E2Save) also never send you any paperwork confirming the deal.

Infact, I had reason to phone CPW today to check on my cashback for the Motorola V500 on YP120 with £180 cashback deal of last May.

Why not ring them and ask? - I have heard that they will normally be happy to send confirmation letters to those who ask but why these couldn't be included in the first place thus saving them and you time and effort sorting it out after the event I don't know.

I am also interested in this as I ordered my phone in early August, when the terms were cash back after 3 & 6 mths. However after contacting them on another matter they mailed me to say 6 & 12 mths, despite repeated mails to them and answers that they were looking into it,i have had no confirmation that they will meet their origional terms. So will send in my 3rd bill with a covering letter to my local trading standards.
I will be interested in hearing how other people get on in getting their cashbacks.

For anyone in this situation, I can offer following advice...

If you contact them and say that:

    (a) You purchased the phone after reading my website (Reestit Mutton's Bargain Basement)

    (b) Lina Patel has confirmed to me in writing (and I, in turn, notified all my readers) that anyone who ordered before 25 August will paid according to the original schedule (after 3 & 6 months).

    (c) You purchased your phone prior to 25 August

Maybe they will sit up and listen. Please feel free to name drop Lina Patel and my website even if you haven't used it.

In fairness to Lina, I shan't be advertising her internal email address here otherwise she will simply be inundated with people wishing to confirm the above. However, if you STILL have problems obtaining confirmation that your repayment schedule is after 3 & 6 months, even after using the above tactics, just PM me with your details (mobile number, name and order number) and I'll see what I can do.
