I know alot of you ladies are the queens of cleaning, and would give Kim and Aggie a run for their money (no offence
). We've just moved into a new flat, and the bath is covered in limescale, not too bad or deep but there seems to be a fair bit all the way around.
What OS tips do you have for cleaning it off?
Thanks

My OH swears by it! He's quite a white vinegar convert, and if he says it works then it definitely must do!Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -
Yep. If it's on the sides just dampen some kitchen roll with vinegar and plaster it over the offending areas. Keep it well soaked and give it plenty of time. If it's on the bottom just pour neat vinegar on it and leave it overnight.
Edit: In the Cleaning section of the MEGA Index sticky at the top of the Old Style forum listing there are more ideas listed under "Bath"Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. If you have an Indian or Chinese store near you they'll probably have loads of the stuff.
Otherwise check the Cleaning section of the MEGA Index for sources listed under... vinegar!

I live near an Asian centre with cash and carrys/asian greengrocers, but none of them sell white vinegar.I haven't managed to find it in any other sort of greengrocers, so it's Makro for me, when I get that way0
