I dont think the OR's bother to contact our creditors till they have the report ready (that can take 8 weeks), they seem to hope that the banks find the details from the London Gazzete or insolvency service website. I know Halifax have just written to me as they have found my details on the London Gazzete, i think Abbey did the same, Natwest dont seem to have found out yet as got my normal bank and credit card statements from them on friday, Lloyds TSB dont know as they have just sent me a nasty letter and got an answerphone message from them today.
Barclaycard have only just stopped hassling me only because i asked the OR to contact them.
I said to the OR that i thought all my creditors would have been contacted by now and thats when he said they only contact the banks straight away (seems doubtful to me) and the rest are told when he sends his reports which can take upto 8 weeks.

    Hi Emptywallet

One of us has appeared in the local paper the other hasnt, dont know about the london gazzete. We also think its doubtful that the or contacts the banks straight away as like we have said our Alliance and leicester account is still open and we have a virtually unused £500 overdraft on that.

Hows is it going with the motorbike?

They are coming to take it away this week, i wont really miss it as only used it about 3 times last year, just annoyed that they are going to sell it off so damn cheaply.

Oh sorry to hear that, yeah like you have said in the past it is worth twice as much as what they would get for it at auction.
