Did anyone watch "Dispatches" last night ? How to make a very effective bomb (demonstrated on an old aircraft fuselage) within your 100ml "allowance" !

Sorry folks, the whole thing is a joke. You are made to eat with a plastic fork, you can't clip your finger nails BUT you can still carry as many 70cl/1L glass bottles of highly inflammable liquid as you can stagger out of the duty free shop with.

As the programme said, they should concentrate on the passengers, not ask them time after time "did you pack your own suitcase" - wonder what Victoria Beckham says to that ?

She probably wouldn't understand - "suitcase" has 2 syllables in it.

Are you going to agree with me now Markymoo? ;0)
(or else you could do what I did and scour the shops for the dinkiest travel sizes of everything that added up to 100ml in total and then get to the airport and discover that I had been a complete buffoon and mis-read the guidelines hehe)

naaa... cos i'm stubborn, i'm one of these people that will walk to the front of the liquid checking line as i never carry liquids onto an airplane since these rules came in, so i have nothing to check... its great actually, saves me time, especially when there are 3 or 4 people in front of me working out what to throwaway etc etc..

    ;)

Be careful - it's not the the liquids that have to be 100ml or less, it's the bottle. So if you have a big bottle with hardly any in it, they'll confiscate it. Friend of mine lost some very expensive shampoo and conditioner this way. The bottles were only quarter full.

Saw Dispatches last night - what a joke it all is. Theatre security?!

I fly a lot and after dressing in a hurry at 4am, then have to undress again at 5.30 in Edinburgh airport security - coat, suit jacket, boots, laptop out of bag, liquids in plastic bag, and you know it's all for nothing.
